Witte Type B  2 1/2hp

Manufactured by Witte Engineering Works, Kansas City, Missouri.

The company was formed in 1870 as a brass and iron foundry. Engine production started in 1894.

The Type B engines were built from 1922 to 1927, the range varied from year to year. At one point they were produced from 1 1/2hp to 12hp. This engine is a 2 1/2hp.

It has been coupled to a small generator for Show Purposes.
