Tony's Stationary Engines

Sandwich Big 6 Engine -

Manufactured by Sandwich Manufacturing Co of Illinois.

These engines were produced from 1915 to approx 1924 in 4 sizes from 4hp to 10hp.

In 1916 the 6hp version was superseded by what became known as the 'Light 6'. The original model adopted the name 'Big 6', so it would appear this model was only produced for a year or so, making it very rare indeed.

This is quite possibly the only Big 6 in the U.K.
