Des Jardin  Engine

Manufactured by Desjardin Ltd, St Andre Kamouraska, Quebec.

The company originally built Gas Engines to a design of 1899 but it is unclear exactly when production actually began.

During the 1920's they built the Des Jardin engine shown here. It didn't have a model name or number, although it closely resembled the'Waterloo Boy' engine of Waterloo, Iowa.

There are only a handful of these engines in the U.K., maybe as few as 4 or 5.
