The Bull Dog series were manufactured in various sizes over the years from 1 1/2hp up to 12hp.

This example is 4hp and dates to c1913.

Interestingly enough a 4hp engine does not appear to be listed in any catalogues, although it does fill the gap between the 2 1/2hp and the 5hp engines that are listed.
